JR pass exchange order is valid for 3 months from the issue date.
The reason why we ask you to put a date(tentative plan) is to make sure you plan to activate it within 3 months or not.
You can start using your pass right away or you can select a day for the first day to start using your pass at the time of activation in the JR exchange office.

Richmond office including J-station will be closed from December 23rd,2023 to January 7th, 2024.　(Phone is available on the business days)
 
Please note that during office closure, JR pass local pick-up will be unavailable and we will not be able to dispatch the orders for Xpress Post (Canada Post) or FedEx delivery. All orders will be processed on January 8th, 2024. 
J-Station at Richmond office Pick-up for JAPAN RAIL PASS Exchange Order 【2023/07】

Pickup will be ready on/after 1 pm on the next day.
e.g.
・If you ordered the JR pass on Monday. Your pass will be ready to pick-up on Tuesday on/after 1pm.
・If you ordered during the weekend, Your pass will be ready to pick-up on Monday on/after 1 pm.

Pick up hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am -5:00pm (Close: Saturday ,Sunday and holiday) / Pickup Location: 8899 Odlin Crescent, Richmond, BC, V6X 3Z7
J-Station's entrance is located on Cambie Rd. Please go around the main building and access from the Cambie Rd side doors. (as of May 15,2023)
