A seat reservation on ordinary cars allows unlimited time.
●*Reserved/Non-reserved seat on Sanyo Shinkansen incl. Nozomi and Mizuho between Shin-Osaka and Okayama.

●The pass can be used for the "Hello Kitty Shinkansen".

●*Reserved/Non-reserved on Express Trains. -Haruka -Kuroshio -Thunderbird -Kounotori -Super Hakuto -Super Inaba etc.

●JR local trains incl. Rapid and Special Raid service train.

*Separate ticket is required for seat reservations.
*The pass invalid for Tokaido Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo.
*The pass invalid for Sanyo Shinkansen between Okayama and Hakata.
*The pass invalid for Kyusyu Shinkansen between Hakata and Kagoshima-Chuo.

Valid Period

5-Day pass allows you to choose the starting date and can be used for 5 consecutive days from the starting date.

Eligibility for use

Only a foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad for sight-seeing, under the entry status of "temporary visitor."Japanese passport holders or Japanese residents cannot be used.

How to turn in an Exchange Order to receive a Pass

After arriving in Japan, please exchange your Exchange Order for the Kansai Wide Area Pass at the designated counters. Please present your passport with the "Temporary Visitor" stamp/sticker. (You cannot use a copy of your passport etc.)

*The counters can be very crowded during tourist season. Please leave extra time for receiving the rail pass.
*Business days and hours are subject to change during the New Year holidays etc.
